There are more than 140,000 people who have not received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Colorado Department of Health and Environment.

In total, 146,390 people are 42 days or more beyond their first dose, Colorado Immunization Information System data shows. It’s about 4.4% of the more than 3.3 million Coloradans immunized with one dose, which is down from 6% earlier this month.

CDPHE said it’s possible some of the people are fully vaccinated but may have received a dose out of state or through federal entities that don’t report to CIIS.

CDPHE is continuing their campaign to combat hesitancy and remind people to get vaccinated through phone calls, text messages and emails.
